Jennie is currently the Director of Clinical Education at Seattle Anxiety Specialists, and a psychotherapist who focuses on treating anxiety and anxiety-related disorders. Jennie specializes both in utilizing exposure therapies for phobias and OCD, as well as in utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (pronounced as the word “act”), and is a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s intensive Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and the University of Washington’s Masters of Social Work program. Jennie has experience working with those in recovery both personally and professionally, and approaches treatment for recovery from a process-based standpoint.

Prior to joining the Seattle Anxiety Specialists, Jennie was lead medical social worker at the Polyclinic, a department and role within the Polyclinic that she founded and developed. Jennie has also spent time involved in research at the University of Washington, has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University, and been cast on popular television shows like Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, Sober House, and a guest on a variety of shows including Oprah, E!, Headline News, and The View.
