After graduating from the University of Virginia, Jess led teens on unsupported bike tours through Maine and Canada before relocating to Seattle at the end of 2016. She then turned her focus to non-profit work in after-school programming and community engagement for immigrant and refugee communities in the South Seattle area. Most recently, Jess worked as the Youth Programs Manager at the Seattle Bouldering Project where she developed pricing structures and accessibility frameworks to address barriers to climbing.
As an avid rock climber, biker, and someone who enjoys a good walk, Jess has found solace and inspiration in the outdoors. She brings this love of fitness and nature to the Senior Program Manager role at Recovery Beyond where she focuses on program development and relationship building.
