Recovery Beyond is taking a team caving!
Indiana Cave Capers is the annual caving event sponsored by the Central Indiana Grotto. It is a weekend of fun, fellowship, camping out and of course…caving. This is an event geared for cavers of all skill levels and a great place to meet other cavers and make connections.

Friday 8/4
— Friday afternoon – private trip to Breathing Hole Cave – beginner friendly
— Friday evening – Howdy Party with live music from Muchos Garcias, a band of cavers
Saturday 8/5
— Opportunities for caving, camp chilling, hiking, etc.
— Saturday evening – Dinner spread, awards, door prizes, cave educational presentation, more live music
Sunday 8/6
— Sunday morning break camp and head home
What’s Included:
— Cave Capers registration fee
— Saturday evening dinner spread
— Food / beverages for weekend of camping
— Coordination to ensure you have appropriate caving gear
What you need to provide:
- Transportation to Corydon, Indiana — you will need to arrive at camp by 11am on Friday 8/4 at the latest or you will miss the private cave trip.
- NOTE: If you can only stay one night, that’s perfectly fine, too!
- Tent or sleeping arrangement (hammock)
- Specialty food / beverage needs
- Clothing layers / boots you can get dirty
- A spirit of adventure!
