Directions: (Parking requires Sno-Parks Permit.)
The parking area for this trail is at the Asahel Curtis Sno-Park. From I-90, west of Snoqualmie Pass, take exit 47, then turn north at the end of the off-ramp and head a few hundred feet to a T intersection. Turn right here to find the beginning of the Sno-Park. Park along the edge of the road. A Sno-Park is required to park here during the winter.
To access the falls during the winter you will need to start from the Asahel Curtis Sno-Park and walk about 2.75 miles in along the road to reach the Franklin Falls Trailhead, and then continue on the trail from there.
