Board Member

Brad is involved with Recovery Beyond because he likes to help people overcome challenges and loves the fact that this could be accomplished through the vehicle of outdoor activities. He particularly loves doing things with people for the first time and being there when they experience things that he loves and the expressions and reactions they have during those experiences.  Whether the first time they ride a mountain bike through a park and over jumps, or summit the mountain it is extremely rewarding.

Brad began his career in Software and Technology in 1999 when he co-founded the internet retailer LightingUniverse.com while he was still attending the University of Washington.  After graduating from UW in 2000, he continued to grow the Kirkland Washington based business for 12 years, when it was acquired by Lowe’s. Brad went on working for Lowe’s for an additional 4 years.   Brad managed teams of software developers and IT infrastructure for the company.

Brad has now moved on to building outdoor recreation facilities under the brand High Trek Adventures.  However, Brad continues to stay very involved in the technology sector by acting as an investor and advisor with a number of local software startups.

In 2017, Brad became involved with RBP and summited Mt Rainier with one of the Program Climbers.  Brad has a love for the outdoors and enjoys hiking and camping with his family in the Northwest.

Brad attends Timberlake Church in Redmond, WA and was an active board member at Timberlake from 2013-2017.
